Sodhi Glass Company

Sodhi Glass Company is right here in the Ashirwad Building, specifically Shop No. 7A on the ground floor. We’re in Green Park, which is a pretty well-known area. Most people use Uphar Cinema as a landmark to find us since it’s just nearby. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for us to move glass in and out without having to deal with stairs or elevators, which is a blessing considering how heavy and fragile glass can be. The shop isn't very large, but we've managed to fit all our tools and some display pieces inside. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when a few customers come in at once. We’ve been in this building for a while now. The neighborhood is always active, with people walking by to the cinema or the other shops. You can hear the city noise all day long. We don't do much advertising. People usually just see our sign when they're walking in Green Park or they hear about us from a neighbor. We keep the shop open regular hours, though sometimes we stay a bit late if a job needs finishing. It’s a family-run kind of feel. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we all kind of look out for each other. It’s a good spot for a glass business, even if the traffic makes parking a bit of a nightmare. We just try to keep the glass safe and the shop running smoothly.
