Our office for Pe Consulting Investintoindia (P) Ltd. is tucked away in Green Park Extension, New Delhi. H-34 is the building. If you know this part of Delhi, you know it’s a mix of houses and small offices, so it stays fairly busy. We spend our hours here looking at documents and talking about business setups. It’s a lot of sitting and typing. The traffic outside on the main road is always a mess, so we usually hear the horns honking while we are trying to concentrate. We have tea delivered a few times a day because that’s the only way we keep going. The furniture in the office has been around for a while and the files are stacked pretty high on some of the desks. It isn’t always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is. Clients come in and we sit around the small table to talk. Sometimes the internet is a bit patchy when it rains hard in Delhi. We are just a small team trying to make sense of all the rules and paperwork involved in investing. Most of the time it’s quiet, except for the sound of the printer going. We like being in Green Park because there are good places to eat nearby when we take a break. It feels like a real community here, not just a cold business district.
