We set up our office at 68/8 Nnc Tikona Park in Jamia Nagar, which is right in the Okhla area of New Delhi. Being close to the park is a nice bit of green in an otherwise very busy and crowded part of the city. Green Carriers & Contractors (Delhi) Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from here for a good while. Our phone number, 9990598248, is usually ringing with calls from drivers and clients throughout the day. The office itself is pretty simple, just a few rooms where we manage the contracting and carrier work. It’s often quite noisy outside because of the traffic and people going to the park, but we just get on with it. We have a small group of people who handle the books and the phone calls. Most of the furniture is a bit old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like a real place where things get done. We don't have any fancy receptionists or big logos everywhere. It’s just us, some computers, and a lot of logbooks. We know the local chai wala and the guys at the corner shop. It is a very normal, everyday sort of place. We focus on the daily tasks of moving goods and managing contracts without much fuss. We like being in Jamia Nagar because it’s lively and there is always something happening right outside our front door.
