We work out of the lower ground floor at S-481 in Greater Kailash-1. Being in the LGF means it stays a bit cooler during the summer, which is nice. The office is filled with large tables covered in blueprints, sketches, and rolls of tracing paper. There are also a few computers where we do all the technical drawings. It’s not the most organized space; there are samples of tiles, wood, and bricks scattered in the corners. We spend most of our time staring at drawings or talking about how to fix a problem with a layout. The lighting is mostly from desk lamps because the windows are small. It's a quiet place for the most part, though sometimes we have long discussions over a particular design that get a bit loud. We don't have a fancy entrance or a big sign outside. You just walk down the steps and you’re in our workspace. It feels a bit lived-in because we spend so many hours here. There’s always a half-empty pot of coffee somewhere and a lot of pens that may or may not work. We focus on getting the plans right for the people who come to us. It’s a lot of back-and-forth work. We’ve been in GK-1 for a while, so we’re used to the neighborhood and the way things work around here.
