S. M. Embroidery

You can find S. M. Embroidery over at 214b/3 in Govindpuri, which is part of the Kalkaji area. Our shop is always busy with the sound of needles and thread moving through fabric. It is a skill that takes a lot of patience and we have been doing it here for quite some time now. The street outside is usually full of life and different shops, so there is always something happening. Inside, we have our frames and machines set up where we spend most of the daylight hours. We handle all sorts of embroidery work, from small details to bigger patterns on different types of cloth. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of all the threads and fabrics we keep around. We are just regular people who know how to sew well. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who have learned the trade over the years. We keep our tools sharp and our eyes on the work. People from around Kalkaji know they can drop by and talk to us about what they need. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth usually brings people to 214b/3. It is a small place but we manage to get a lot of work finished every week. Every piece we finish is just another day at the shop for us.
