A.F.L. Lining

A.F.L. Lining is located at No. 975, Gali No. 9 in Kalkaji. It’s a bit deep into the lane, so you have to keep an eye out for the number. We’ve been in this part of Kalkaji for a long time and everyone around here knows us. Our workspace is mostly dedicated to the materials we handle, with rolls of lining and fabric tucked into every corner. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially when a new shipment arrives and we have to find a place for it all. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People usually just come in, look at the rolls, and we cut what they need. It’s a very basic setup with a couple of old cutting tables and some sewing machines. The lighting isn't the best, but we know our materials well enough to work in it. We aren't trying to be a big fashion house or anything polished. We just provide the linings that other people use for their own projects. The sounds of the street outside are always there, but we just get used to it after a while. Most of us have been working here for years and we just do our jobs without much fuss. It is a simple, honest way to make a living and we are happy staying right here in Gali No. 9.
