Gopalka Prints

We have been running Gopalka Prints for a while now over by J Tagore Park. It’s a nice enough spot because you can see the trees and people walking their dogs when you step out for a break. Inside the shop, it’s a different story with the smell of ink and the constant humming of the machines. We have piles of paper everywhere, some for wedding cards and others for local business flyers. My hands usually have a bit of blue or black ink on them by noon, and no amount of scrubbing really gets it all off. We don't have a big corporate setup, just a few of us who know how to handle the presses and make sure the colors don't bleed into each other. Sometimes a customer comes in with a very specific idea that takes us half the day to figure out, but we usually manage to get it sorted on the paper. The floor is stained from years of work, and the lights flicker once in a while, but it’s a comfortable place to spend the day. We don’t do much advertising because people just know we are here by the park. Most of our regulars are neighbors who have been coming to us for years. It’s just a steady, messy, and satisfying way to get things printed for the people around here.
