You can find Goodwin Car Accessories over at 25C, NICOLSON ROAD. This part of Kashmere Gate is always packed with cars and people looking for things. Our shop is small but we fit a lot in there. There are boxes stacked up to the ceiling sometimes. We usually have a few cars parked out front while we work on them. It gets crowded on the sidewalk, so people have to squeeze past. Nicolson Road is one of those places where you see everything. We’ve been here at 25C for quite a while now. The guys who work here know their way around most cars. It’s not a shiny showroom like you see in the malls. We have grease on our hands and the floor is a bit stained. We usually keep the radio on to keep us going during the long afternoons. In the summer, the heat is pretty bad, so we drink a lot of cold water. Customers come in and out, asking about different parts or just seeing what we have. We don't really use a computer for much, mostly just notebooks and pens. It’s a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. We just focus on getting the parts on the cars and making sure they fit right. It’s a busy life here in the gate. We just take it one car at a time and try to stay organized.
