G.N.Enterprises

We are located out in Okhla Industrial Area Phase-II, which is a completely different world compared to the retail markets. Our unit is X-60/61. It’s a big, grey building that looks like every other building on this block, but we know it by the specific dent in the main gate. Inside, G.N.Enterprises is mostly about movement. There’s always a truck backing in or a tempo leaving with a load. It’s noisy because of the nearby factories, and there is always a faint smell of grease or exhaust in the air. We have a small office tucked in one corner where the paperwork piles up. The walls are covered in calendars from three years ago that nobody bothered to take down. We deal with various industrial supplies and sometimes it feels like we are just moving boxes from one side of the room to the other. The tea boy comes by twice a day, and that's usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don't have fancy furniture, just some old plastic chairs for visitors. People come here for work, not for the atmosphere. It gets very busy during the end of the month when everyone wants their orders at once. We’ve had the same staff for a long time, so we all know how the machines sound when they’re working right. It’s a bit gritty and the windows are always a little dirty from the road dust, but we get things done.
