Nawada is a busy place, and our little setup here reflects that. We deal with control systems and electrical parts mostly. It’s not the most glamorous job, as there are lots of wires, metal boxes, and technical manuals lying around everywhere. Most of the time, the workbench is cluttered with tools and half-finished projects. We started Global Electrotek Controls Systems because we knew our way around a circuit board and liked fixing things. It’s just a few of us working here. We spend our days looking at diagrams and making sure things click and connect the way they should. Sometimes a customer comes in with a part that’s twenty years old and expects us to have a replacement right then. We try to find it, but it involves a lot of digging through old crates in the back room. The heat in the summer gets pretty bad in the workshop, but we keep the fans going and get through the pile of work. We aren't a big corporation with fancy offices or polished reception areas. Our office is basically a desk pushed into a corner covered in old invoices and coffee cups. We've been in Nawada long enough that the tea seller next door knows exactly when we need our mid-morning break. It’s a lot of repetitive work, testing switches and checking voltages over and over. But when a system finally starts up right, it feels okay. We just keep our heads down and handle whatever comes through the door.
