We are located in Phaltan, which is in the Satara district of Maharashtra. The specific spot is Sairang, Laxminagar. If you know the area, we are right near the Golibar Ground. It’s a wide open space where you can see kids playing or events happening sometimes. Our name is Getrag Hitechgears India Pvt Ltd Bhiwadi, which is a bit funny since we are here in Phaltan and not Bhiwadi, but that’s just what’s on the paperwork. The vibe here is pretty relaxed. We spend most of our time dealing with the gears and the technical side of things. The building is easy enough to find once you get into Laxminagar. It’s usually quiet in the mornings before the sun really starts hitting the pavement. We’ve been at this address for a bit. It’s a decent walk from the main bus stand if you like walking, otherwise, most people just take a rickshaw. Inside, it’s mostly just workbenches and the smell of metal and grease. It’s not a shiny showroom. We have our routine. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is something we all look forward to. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that is just how it is around here. We just wait it out and get back to it. It’s a hardworking place.
