Genii Optolights

Genii Optolights is tucked away on the first floor at Z-35. We’re in Okhla Industrial Area-II. If you’ve been to Okhla, you know it’s a maze of factories and workshops. Finding our building can be a bit tricky the first time, but you get the hang of it. We work with lights and optical equipment. The first floor is nice because we’re a bit removed from the dust of the street. Inside, it’s mostly bright lights and workbenches. We have a few people who focus on the technical side and a couple of us who handle the orders. It’s not a very big team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. Sometimes I'm answering the phone, and five minutes later I'm helping pack a box. We don't have a corporate handbook or anything like that. We just know how things need to be done. The Okhla area is always busy, so there’s a constant background noise of traffic and machinery. We’ve got a small window that looks out over the street, which is good for seeing when the delivery trucks arrive. We’ve been here long enough that the walls feel familiar. We just focus on the orders we have for the day and try to get them out before the sun goes down. It's a busy life, but it's what we do. We’re just here in Okhla making things happen.
