At Genetix Biotech Asia, we’re located on the first floor of 71/1 on Najaf Garh Road. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We have a decent amount of space on this floor for our work. It’s mostly divided into a small office area and the lab space. We don’t have any elevators, so we get our exercise walking up and down the stairs a few times a day. The building is a bit older, but it serves its purpose for us. We spend a lot of time looking at data and working with different samples. It isn't the kind of job where you see the results right away, so you have to be patient. We have a small kitchen area where we keep the kettle going for tea and coffee. That’s usually where most of our planning happens, just casual talk while waiting for the water to boil. Najaf Garh Road can be pretty loud with all the trucks and buses, but we’ve mostly tuned it out by now. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want a place where we can do our jobs without too much trouble. It’s been our home for quite a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building. It works for us and the small team we have here.
