Generix Lifesciences Pvt Ltd is located on the 12th floor of Devika Towers, which is at 1223 Nehru Place. Being in Nehru Place is a bit overwhelming sometimes because there are so many people and so much noise from the computer markets downstairs. Our office is way up there, so we have to rely on the elevators, which can be quite a wait during the lunch hour. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze of paper. We have stacks of documents on the desks and boxes of samples tucked under the tables. We’ve been here long enough that the carpet is worn out in the spots where we walk the most. It’s a small operation, really. We don't have any big corporate policies or fancy break rooms. We just have a small kettle for tea and some biscuits we keep in a drawer. The view from the 12th floor isn't anything special, just lots of concrete and the tops of other buildings. We spend our hours talking to distributors and checking on regulatory filings. It’s a lot of sitting and a lot of typing. Sometimes the AC makes a weird rattling sound, but we’ve learned to ignore it. We aren't a big flashy company. We’re just a group of people working in a crowded office in a busy part of Delhi, trying to keep everything organized.
