Being located at 8982 Desh Bandhu Gupta Road means there is never a quiet moment. Pahar Ganj is always moving, and we are right in the thick of it. Our office is a busy spot where we handle all the international paperwork and shipping details. It’s an old building, so the walls have some character, and the rooms aren't perfectly square. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the computer for updates. The street outside is full of rickshaws and people walking to the station. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to park, so we mostly walk if we have to run errands nearby. There’s a lot of dust from the road, so we are constantly wiping down the desks. It’s a practical workspace, nothing fancy. We have stacks of files that seem to grow every week. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the vendors nearby. The fans hum all day long to keep the air moving. We’ve been at this spot for a good bit of time now, and everyone around here knows us. We don't have a big sign, just a small one by the door. It’s a tough, fast-paced environment but we like being where the action is. Every morning we unlock the heavy door and start the day's tasks, dealing with whatever comes our way. We keep an extra umbrella near the entrance for the sudden rains.
