The Tras

Our place is at F- 201 in Gautam Nagar, which is part of South Extension Part- 2. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of narrow lanes and people everywhere. Finding the right building can be a bit of a puzzle the first time you visit. We are on one of the upper floors, so we get a bit of a breeze if the windows are open. The space is filled with files and some old furniture we’ve had since we started. It’s not a very quiet area, as you can always hear a scooter horn or someone shouting down in the street. We usually have a radio playing low in the background to drown out some of the noise. It’s a simple setup. We deal with whatever comes our way during the day. Sometimes there’s a lot of paperwork to sort through, and other times it’s just answering emails and talking to folks who drop by. We’ve got a small corner for making tea, which is pretty essential for us. The lighting isn't great in the evenings, but we manage. It’s a lived-in kind of office. We don’t try to impress anyone with fancy rugs or glass walls. It’s just a practical spot in a crowded part of the city where we get our work done. Most of the time we are just focused on the next thing on the list.
