GAURI SHANKAR ENTERPRISES

We have been at House No.64 for a while now. Sudershan Park is where we do everything, right on the ground floor of Block A. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. My family started Gauri Shankar Enterprises because we needed to work and this felt right. We don’t have fancy offices or anything like that. Just a regular room where we keep our stock and talk to people who come by. Sometimes it gets crowded with boxes everywhere. We just try to get things done every day. Dealing with neighbors and customers is just part of life here. Some days are slow, others we are running around quite a bit. It’s not a big corporation, just us working. We handle what comes our way. If someone needs something, they just walk into the ground floor area and we see what we can do. It’s a simple setup. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years. We stay busy with the day-to-day tasks. Nothing too complicated about how we run things. Just keeping the books straight and making sure the inventory is where it should be. It takes up most of our time. Usually, you can find one of us sitting there near the front door. We don't spend money on big signs or ads. Word of mouth usually brings people to Block A. It's how things work in this part of town. We just keep going. It isn't always perfect but we show up. The floor gets dusty but we sweep it when we can.
