Ganpati Automative

If you walk down Meher Chand Market in Lodhi Colony, you'll see Ganpati Automative at number 78. This part of town has changed a lot lately, with more boutiques and cafes opening up, but we’ve stayed focused on auto parts. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes. It’s a tight fit when more than two people are inside at the same time. We handle a lot of different components for various car models. Most of our day is spent answering questions from people who aren't quite sure what’s wrong with their vehicle. We don’t do the repairs here, we just provide the parts that the mechanics down the road need. The market is usually busy with people walking their dogs or tourists looking around, which makes for a nice view from our front door. We keep a stack of old catalogs behind the counter because sometimes the digital versions don’t have the older models we need. It’s a pretty simple setup. We open up mid-morning and usually stay until the sun goes down. We’ve got a small fan that barely keeps the air moving, but it’s okay. The neighbors are friendly, and we often share tea with the shopkeepers next door. We aren't looking to be a big chain or anything. We just like being here in the market and helping out when someone's car is acting up. It's a small living but it keeps us busy every day.
