We started this place at Plot B1272 a few years back. GD Colony is always busy, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading out to work. Mayur Vihar Phase 3 has its own rhythm, you know. The shop isn't huge, but we make it work. Most days it’s just us surrounded by rolls of film, seat covers, and those small accessories that make a car look a bit different. The fan on the ceiling hums all day, and sometimes it doesn't do much against the Delhi heat. We usually have a tea stall guy who brings us chai around eleven. That’s when things really get moving. People stop by with their vehicles, some just to ask about a price or to see what’s new on the shelf. The floor gets a bit dusty with all the foot traffic, but we sweep it when we can. It’s a lot of manual work, getting the fit right and making sure things aren't crooked. My hands are usually a bit dirty by lunch. We don't have fancy chairs or a big waiting room, just a couple of stools and the counter. It gets loud outside with the horns and the rickshaws, but inside we just focus on whatever car is parked out front. It’s a decent life here in the colony, just keeping busy and making sure the shop stays open until late evening when the lights come on for the night market.
