Galhotra Motors is located at No-56 in Vardan House, which is right in Chabi Ganj near Kashmiri Gate. If you know the Kashmiri Gate area, you know how packed and loud it can get with all the motor parts and vehicles everywhere. Vardan House is one of those old buildings that has seen a lot of history. Our shop is right in the middle of it all. We have shelves full of parts and a counter that’s seen a lot of use over the years. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where every bolt and belt is kept. The air smells like old metal and engine oil, which we don’t mind at all. We don’t use any corporate talk here. We just tell it like it is. Customers come in looking for specific things, and we do our best to find them. It’s a busy life, and there’s always someone shouting or a horn honking outside on the street. We’ve been here long enough that the chaos feels normal. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay until the work is done. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, where everyone pitches in. Chabi Ganj is our home, and we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else despite the noise and the crowd.
