G S Graphics Arts

G S Graphics Arts is located at A-18 in Naraina Industrial Area Phase I. If you’ve ever been to Naraina, you know it’s a busy, dusty place full of trucks and warehouses. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We do a lot of printing and graphic work, so there’s always the sound of machines running in the background. It’s a constant hum that you eventually stop noticing. The floor is usually covered in paper scraps and there’s ink on almost every surface, including our hands. We’ve been here since before the metro came through. It’s a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the noise, but it’s where all the action is. We don't have a design studio with bean bags or anything. It’s just heavy machines and big tables for cutting and binding. People come in with their files on thumb drives and we try to get their posters or brochures printed as fast as we can. It’s a lot of back and forth about colors and paper weights. We’re just a local print shop trying to keep up with the orders. Naraina is a gritty neighborhood, but it suits us. We know the guys in the other units and we all grab tea from the same cart outside. It’s a real community. We keep the front door open mostly to let some air in, even if it brings in a bit of dust from the road.
