G R Kalsi & Co. is located at Plot No. B-7 on Gali No. 4. We are right in the middle of the Anand Parbat Industrial Area. If you’ve ever walked through these galis, you know it’s a tight squeeze with a lot of activity. Our workshop is always full of parts and tools scattered around. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we have our own system. We spend our hours focused on the metalwork that comes our way. It’s the kind of place where you’re going to get some grease on your hands. The noise from the other shops in Anand Parbat blends in with ours. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby. People just walk in through the main door and tell us what they need. We’ve been in this spot for years, so we know the area like the back of our hand. It’s a tough environment sometimes, but we enjoy the work we do. There is a lot of history in these streets and we feel like a small part of it. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily grind. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we just deal with it and move on. That is just how life goes in a place like this. We are just regular people doing regular work without any extra fluff or nonsense.
