Being in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area means you get used to the noise and those narrow streets pretty quickly. Our place is at A-25 on Street No-4. It is a tight squeeze sometimes when the big trucks are trying to get past each other. We’ve been working out of this same spot for a long time. Inside, it is mostly just us and the machines doing their thing. We spend most of the day fixing things or making parts for whoever asks. It gets pretty loud in the middle of the shift, but you stop noticing the racket after a few hours. That tea stall around the corner is where we usually catch our breath and talk about the day. We don't have a big office or anything polished like that. Just a simple desk with some papers and the main work area where everything happens. If a customer comes in, they usually just walk right back to where we are working to say hello. It is simple and straightforward. We do what we’re told to do and try to get it right. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish up before the weekend. The neighborhood is full of small shops like ours, all doing different things. We know most of the guys on Street No-4. It is a good community, even if it is a bit dusty and crowded. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there.
