G & G Motors

The shop is located at 1/5253, St.No. 9, right in the middle of Balbir Nagar in Shahdara. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know it’s a bit tight and there are always scooters and cars zooming past. We opened G & G Motors because we knew our way around an engine and there was plenty of work to do. It’s a messy job sometimes with oil stains that never really come out of your clothes, but we don’t mind it much. Most mornings start with moving a few cars around to make space for the day's tasks. We do a lot of engine work and general fixing for whoever happens to drive in or call us up. The tools are mostly scattered where we last left them, though we try to keep things organized. It’s not some big flashy showroom with glass walls. It’s a real garage where things get fixed and hands get dirty. Sometimes the parts take a while to arrive from the supplier, so we just work on what we have in front of us. My brother and I usually handle the main stuff. We have a couple of guys helping out when things get backed up. Shahdara has a lot of energy and we are just glad to be a small part of the daily grind here. We stay open until the last job is decent enough to go home and get some rest before doing it all again tomorrow.
