Fortis Hospital

Working at Fortis Hospital over at City Standard City Standard means you never really have a dull moment. It’s a practical sort of place. We don't have all those fancy waterfall walls or anything, just clean rooms and a lot of medical equipment. Most of us live nearby, so it’s a local crowd for the most part. I usually take the bus, and the stop is right nearby. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of pagers and people talking in the corridors. We have a pretty steady flow of patients. Some days are just filled with routine checkups, and other days everything happens at once. It’s not like what you see in the movies. It’s more about making sure the charts are updated and the rooms are ready for the next person. City Standard City Standard is a good location because it's easy for people to find. The staff room is pretty small, but we make it work. We share stories about our weekends while we wait for the kettle to boil. It’s honest work. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. When someone asks where I work, I just say the Fortis at City Standard City Standard. Most people know it. We’ve had some long nights here, especially when the weather is bad and more people come in. It’s just part of the job. We keep showing up, doing the shifts, and helping whoever walks through the front doors. It's what we do.
