Force Group Asia

Shankar Road is always a bit of a squeeze with all the parked scooters and people walking by. Our office is at No. 33/9, and it’s one of those buildings where you have to know exactly where you’re going or you might miss the entrance. Inside, it’s mostly just desks pushed up against the walls and a lot of paper stacked in corners. Force Group Asia sounds like it should be in some big glass tower, but we’re just here in a regular room with a ceiling fan that’s seen better days. The light isn’t great in the back, so we use some floor lamps to see what we are doing. We mostly handle things over the phone or on the old computers we’ve had for years. You can hear the neighbors through the walls sometimes, especially when they have their radio on. It gets stuffy in the summer, but we keep the windows open even if the dust from the street comes in. There’s a guy who sells snacks right outside the main gate, so that’s usually our lunch most days. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we are used to the honking and the shouting from the market nearby. We just keep our heads down and get through the tasks one by one. It’s a plain place for plain work, really. There is always something to file or someone to call back before we close up.
