Fedex Express

We are set up over at Sarai Jullena, which is right by the Escort Heart Institute in New Delhi. It’s a very busy part of town, so there are always people and cars moving around outside our doors. At this Fedex Express location, we spend our days sorting through parcels and getting things ready for the drivers. It’s a fast-paced environment, especially in the mornings when the trucks arrive and in the evenings when everyone is trying to get their mail out. The office isn't much to look at, just a lot of counters and boxes stacked up. We don't have time for fancy decorations because there is always a line or a delivery to scan. The heat in Delhi can be tough, but we keep the fans going and keep moving. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time, and we know many of the regulars who come in. It’s a practical business, and we just focus on getting the packages where they need to go. Sometimes things get hectic, and the noise from the street is constant, but we’re used to it by now. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just about logistics and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It's a lot of scanning and labeling and helping people who walk in with their boxes.
