A. N. International

Our office for A. N. International is at No. 1525 in Farash Khana, right on G. B. Road. This is an old part of the city, and the streets are always packed with people and rickshaws. It’s a very busy place to work. Our building is quite old and the stairs are narrow. Inside, we have boxes stacked up everywhere because we handle a lot of goods coming in and out. It’s not a very pretty office, but it works for what we need. The walls have some marks on them from years of moving crates around. We’ve been here for a long time and know all the other traders in the Farash Khana area. The noise from the street never really stops, so you just get used to working with the sounds of horns and shouting in the background. In the summer, it gets very stuffy inside, so we have a couple of old fans that we keep running all day. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or marketing slogans. We just come in, check our lists, and make sure the shipments are going where they need to go. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially when there’s a delay. We usually grab some food from one of the local stalls nearby when we get a chance. It’s a gritty, real environment, but it’s where we’ve built our business over the years. We just keep at it.
