Excel Automotive

Our shop, Excel Automotive, sits on the ground floor at 1271/3 in Naiwala. If you know Karol Bagh, you know how crowded it gets with all the spare parts shops and mechanics everywhere. We’ve been part of this mess for quite some time. It's a tight space, but we make it work somehow. Most days involve a lot of lifting, moving heavy boxes, and talking to people who are looking for specific bits for their vehicles. We don't have a big waiting room or anything like that. People usually just stand around or wait outside on the sidewalk while we find what they need. The noise from the street is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. We started out small and stayed that way because it's easier to manage things ourselves. We know most of the other shop owners on this block. Sometimes it’s chaotic, especially when deliveries arrive at the same time as customers. We try to keep things organized, though it doesn’t always look like it to someone walking in for the first time. We handle a lot of different parts every day. It’s a lot of manual work and checking numbers on labels. We don't do much fancy advertising; people just find us because we’ve been at this address for years. It's just a regular local business trying to keep up with the demand in a very busy part of Delhi.
