Everest Plastic Products is over at Shop No. 20- A in the S. P. Mukherji Market. Being on Faiz Road in Karol Bagh means it’s always busy around here. You hear the horns and people shouting all day long while we’re inside the shop. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the plastic items stacked up, but we make it work. The shelves are full, and sometimes we have to move three boxes just to get to one thing in the back. Working in Karol Bagh has its own rhythm, especially in a place like S. P. Mukherji Market where everyone knows everyone else. We open up Shop No. 20- A early because that’s when the deliveries usually start arriving. It gets dusty pretty fast with the road right there, so someone is always wiping down the counters. We don’t have any fancy office furniture, just some old chairs and a sturdy table where we keep the ledger for Everest Plastic Products. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day. Faiz Road is never really quiet, even when we’re closing up the shutters late in the evening. People ask where we are, and we just tell them to look for the sign near the middle of the market. It’s just us doing what we do every day at this spot. We don't bother with fancy displays, we just keep things moving.
