Down in the basement here at B-20/21 in Abulfazal Enclave. We are right near the Okhla Vihar Metro station so you can hear the trains if it is quiet enough. Life solutions sounds like a big name but really it is just us working on everyday problems people face. It gets a bit cool in the basement during winter which is nice compared to the Delhi heat outside. We have been in Jamia Nagar for a while now. The office isn't huge but we fit everything we need inside. You walk down the stairs and there we are. We handle a lot of different things depending on who walks through the door. Some days it is just sorting out papers and other days it is talking through things that people are struggling with in their daily lives. Being near the metro makes it easy for people to find us even if they aren't from this part of South Delhi. We don't go for flashy signs or anything. Just a simple door and some desks. Most of our time is spent on the computer or on the phone. It is a steady kind of work. We know the neighbors and the tea stall guy nearby pretty well by now. It feels like a real community around here. We just do our part in the basement and try to keep things moving forward for anyone who needs a bit of help with their situation.
