Ellis Traders

We’ve been running Ellis Traders here on Joshi Road in Karol Bagh for quite some time now. Our shop is at No. 12/382-383, and if you know this part of Delhi, you know how busy it gets. It’s always a bit loud outside with the traffic and people moving around, but we just get on with our work. We started out small and mostly just focus on getting things done day by day. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that, just a regular place where we keep our stock and handle the paperwork. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon when things are slow. Most of our neighbors around here are doing the same thing, just trying to keep their businesses going. We handle a lot of different trading items, and the shelves are usually pretty full. It gets a bit dusty because of the road, but we try to keep it decent. People walk in and out, asking for prices or checking on orders. We don’t have some big corporate team, just us here making sure the orders go out when they are supposed to. It’s a lot of manual work, checking boxes and writing things down in the ledgers. Joshi Road has changed a lot over the years, but our spot remains pretty much the same. We like the local vibe of Karol Bagh, even when it’s chaotic.
