You can find us at 23, Shivaji Marg. Elgi Equipment Ltd has been at this address for quite a while, and the building definitely shows its age in a few spots. It is a solid place, though, and it works for what we need. Shivaji Marg is a very busy road, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. Parking can be a nightmare if you show up after nine in the morning. Inside, it is mostly rows of desks and shelves stacked high with equipment manuals and old ledgers. We do not have those modern open offices with bean bags. It is just a regular workplace where we sit and handle the daily business. Sometimes the air conditioning makes a bit of a rattling noise, but we just ignore it. We spend our days talking to people about equipment and checking our stock levels. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it is important to get it right. We have a small crew here and we all pretty much know what the other person is doing. We do not go for lunch at fancy places; usually, someone just brings in food or we grab something from the vendor nearby. It is a simple, no-nonsense way of running things. We are just here to do our jobs, answer the phones, and make sure the equipment side of the business stays on track without any extra drama.
