We are Elena Gaskets, located at No. 10/1131 in Naiwala, Karol Bagh. Anyone who knows Delhi knows that Karol Bagh is the heart of the auto parts trade. It’s incredibly crowded and noisy every single day. Our shop is tucked away in one of those narrow lanes where there’s always a scooter or a cart trying to squeeze past. We focus on gaskets, so our shelves are packed with different sizes and types. It’s a small space, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent looking through catalogs or climbing ladders to find the right part for a customer. It’s not glamorous. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and it gets quite hot in the summer months. But we like it here. There’s a certain energy to Naiwala that you don’t get anywhere else. We know the other shop owners and we see the same mechanics every week. We don't have a big marketing plan. People just know we are at 10/1131 and they come by when they need something specific. It’s a very hands-on kind of life. We check the stock, talk to the suppliers, and help the people who walk through the door. That’s what being in Karol Bagh is all about. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s honest and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening.
