Our office is on the 3rd Floor of D-179 in Lajpat Nagar I. We go by Electronic Software Solutions India Pvt Ltd. Lajpat Nagar is a very lively part of New Delhi, and being on the third floor means we get to hear the sounds of the market and the street vendors all day long. It’s a good energy to have around while we are working on our computers. The stairs up to the office can be a bit steep, especially when you’re carrying a heavy bag, but we are used to it by now. The space inside is mostly open with desks lined up along the walls. We have a small corner for making tea and coffee, which is probably the most popular spot in the office during the afternoon slump. Since we work with software, there are wires and monitors everywhere, and it can look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. The internet connection is the most important thing for us, so we get a bit worried whenever there’s a storm or a power cut. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees; we are just a small group of people who enjoy what we do and like being in this part of the city. There’s always somewhere good to eat nearby, which is a big plus for our lunch breaks. It's a simple, practical way to work and live in Delhi.
