You can find us at 202, DLF Tower A, which is over in the Jasola Sarita Vihar area. We are an association, so our office is basically a hub for the people who make lamps and lighting components across India. It is mostly about bringing those manufacturers together. We spend a lot of our time dealing with industry standards and talking to different members about what is happening in the lighting world. There are always meetings going on or someone on a conference call. It is not a retail shop, so we do not have products on display for people to buy. Instead, we have piles of reports and folders about regulations and manufacturing stats. The building itself is a standard office tower, so it is pretty easy to get to by the metro or car. We try to keep our members updated on any changes they need to know about. It is a lot of coordination work behind the scenes. Some days it feels like we are just moving information from one place to another, but it is what keeps the lighting industry connected. We have been in Jasola for a while, and it is a convenient spot for our visitors who come in from out of town. The office is usually quiet unless we have a big group meeting scheduled. We just keep our heads down and handle the paperwork and the networking that comes with being a trade body for the lighting sector in this country.
