Our place is in Sahnewal, right near the Civil Hospital in Ludhiana. If you know the area, you know it’s a hub for transport. We are at B-Ii, 147. It’s a practical setup. There is always noise from the main road, and trucks are constantly pulling in and out. The office is basically just desks and files. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking the loading docks. Ludhiana gets very hot in May, so we have a small cooler that barely works. But we manage. The staff here has been together for a long time. We know who is reliable and which routes are currently blocked by construction. It’s a lot of grit and manual labor. We don't use much fancy software; a lot of it is just knowing the business. When the winter fog hits Punjab, things get slow. We sit around with jackets on and wait for the visibility to improve so the drivers can leave. It’s a tough job sometimes. People rely on us to get their goods across the state. We don't make a big fuss about it. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Near the hospital, it stays busy late into the evening. We keep the lights on until the last truck is accounted for. It's just what we do here in Sahnewal. We have been doing it for years and we expect to be here for many more.
