Durgesh Paneer Bhandar

We are located at Plot No 270 in B Block of Greater Kailash I. Our shop is a straightforward paneer bhandar, which means we focus on fresh cottage cheese and a few other dairy items. Unlike the big commercial brands, we do things on a much smaller scale right here in GK 1. The shop is clean but simple, with white tiled walls and stainless steel counters. You can usually see the big blocks of paneer sitting in water to keep them soft and fresh. We have been at this B Block location for years, and we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. Our day starts with the arrival of fresh milk, and then we get to work making the paneer. It is a rhythmic process that we have perfected over a long time. There is not any fancy seating area or decor here. It is just a counter where you come to buy what you need. We know most of our regulars who stop by on their way home from work or after their morning walk. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is shopping for dinner, but we move as fast as we can. We do not spend money on advertising or big promotions. The quality of the paneer usually speaks for itself, and word of mouth keeps us going. It is a quiet, steady life here on Plot No 270 and we like it that way.
