Over here at S-131 in Panchsheel Park, Dss Electronics is where we handle a lot of circuit boards and tiny components. It’s a lot of soldering and looking through magnifying glasses. The shop is a bit cluttered because we hate throwing away parts that might be useful later. You’ll see piles of old monitors and boxes of wires scattered around the benches. We started doing this because we were always the ones fixing things for our neighbors anyway. It’s a small operation, and we don't have any interest in making it huge. We like being able to see who we’re helping. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought because we have to wait for a specific chip to arrive in the mail. It can be a little slow going at times, but we’d rather do it right than rush it. We don't have any fancy signs out front, just the address and our name. People find us when they need something fixed that they can't do themselves. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when all the equipment is running, so we usually keep the fans on full blast. We just focus on the work on the bench and try to get things back to people in working order. It's a bit messy, but it’s how we work best. We don't overthink it, we just fix things.
