RML Hospital is a huge place on Baba Kharag Singh Marg. Most people in Delhi just know it as the big government hospital near Connaught Place. It is never truly quiet here. Day or night, there are people arriving. We are right in the heart of the city. Being on Baba Kharag Singh Marg means we are close to everything. The hospital handles thousands of people. It is not like a small private clinic where things are calm. It is a massive operation. You see people from every walk of life sitting on the benches or waiting in the corridors. The buildings are old and have seen a lot of history. There are no fancy waiting lounges or free coffee. It is a place where the work is constant and often difficult. The staff stays busy moving from one ward to another. We have doctors and nurses working around the clock. The traffic outside is always heavy with buses and autos. Inside, the fans are usually humming and there is a lot of talk in the hallways. It is a very honest place. Nobody is here for the decor; they are here because they need medical help. We just manage the flow of patients as best as we can. It is a very public space. Every day is different, and you never know what will come through the doors next. It is just life at RML.
