Dr R M L Hospital, or Ram Manohar Lohiya Hospital as many know it, is situated right on Baba Khadka Singh Marg in the Cannaught Place area of Delhi. Being in such a central spot, things are always moving here. It’s a big place, much larger than your average clinic, and it’s always full of people from all walks of life. We see people coming in from every corner of Delhi and even further out. Because we are in Connaught Place, there’s always a lot of noise and traffic outside. Inside, it can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. The staff here works long shifts to keep things going. It’s a busy environment with a lot of different departments, but at its heart, it’s just a place where people come to get better. You’ll see doctors and nurses rushing around quite a bit. It’s not the kind of place for a quiet chat, as there is always someone needing something. We try to keep the queues moving, but with so many people, it takes time. The building itself has been around for a long time and has a lot of history to it. We don't have fancy decorations, just the equipment and the beds needed for the patients. It’s a very practical place. Everyone here is just doing their part to manage the daily rush and help whoever walks through the entrance.
