Hariram Textile

Our place, Hariram Textile, is on the second floor of 5/3 in the DLF Industrial Area. Being near the Moti Nagar Metro Station is helpful, but the walk from the station can be a bit dusty. We have a lot of heavy machinery up here, so the floor vibrates a little when everything is running at once. It’s not a quiet place. We deal with a lot of fabric rolls that are quite heavy to carry up the stairs. There isn’t an elevator that works all the time. We’ve been in Moti Nagar for a good while. The space is filled with the smell of new cloth and a bit of machine oil. We have a small desk tucked in the corner where we handle the bills. Most of the time, we are out on the floor making sure the looms are doing what they should. It’s a lot of manual work. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in our work clothes, probably covered in a bit of lint. The windows are high up, so we don't see much of the street, but we hear the metro trains passing by every few minutes. It is an honest day's work. We pack everything up ourselves and get it ready for the loaders. It’s just how we run things here.
