Diesel Garage

Diesel Garage is located at Plot No. 1558 on Church Road, right in the heart of Kashmere Gate. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know it’s one of the busiest places you can find. There’s always a crowd, and the sound of horns is just something we live with. Our garage isn’t some high-end showroom; it’s a real workshop where things get greasy and work actually gets done. We’ve got tools scattered around and parts waiting to be used. It’s a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot into the space, but it works for us. We spend our days mostly under hoods or dealing with engine parts. People come to us because we’ve been at this spot for a long time and they know what to expect. There’s no air conditioning out in the main work area, so it gets pretty hot in the summer months. We just drink a lot of water and keep moving. The floor is stained with oil, and there’s always a bit of a smell of diesel in the air, which I guess is why we call it what we do. It’s a simple business, really. We don’t have a big front desk or anyone in a suit. It’s just us, our tools, and the trucks or cars that need fixing. The back gate sticks a bit when it rains, but we've learned how to kick it just right to get it open.
