If you head down to the DSIDC Jhilmil Industrial Area, you will find us at No. 32. Diamond Incubators has been in this area for a long time. Jhilmil is a very busy place, always full of the sounds of machines running and people working. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a sturdy industrial unit where we build our products. We make incubators, mostly for poultry farms and some small laboratories. It involves a lot of metalwork and complicated wiring. The shop floor is usually covered in metal scraps and tools while we are in the middle of a big project. We have a small crew of workers who really know their trade well. Many of them have been with us for over ten years. It gets very hot in the summer and quite cold in the winter because the warehouse isn't exactly climate-controlled, but we just get on with the work. We drink a lot of chai together to keep our energy up. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. If someone needs an incubator, they usually hear about us from someone else who is already in the trade. We just show them what we have built and they can see for themselves that it works fine. The streets around here can get pretty clogged with large lorries, so we have learned to be very patient.
