You can find Dhani Ram & Co at 244 Qutab Road, right in the heart of Jawahar Market. Being so close to the metro station means there is a constant stream of people walking past our front door at all hours. It is a very busy part of town, and the noise from the street is something you just have to get used to. Our office is a bit old-fashioned. We still have some heavy wooden desks and stacks of paper files that probably should have been digitized years ago. We handle general trading and help out other vendors in the market with their supplies. It is not the kind of place where you find fancy decor or comfortable chairs. We have a few plastic stools for visitors and a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit when it is on high. We have been part of Jawahar Market for a long time, and we have seen shops come and go while we just keep doing our thing. Sometimes the deliveries get stuck in traffic for hours, and we just have to tell people to come back the next day. It is a bit frustrating, but that is how it goes on Qutab Road. We don't spend money on ads or anything like that. People just know where we are and what we do. It is a simple business run by people who have lived here their whole lives.
