Dewinter Optical Inc.

You’ll find Dewinter Optical Inc. up on the third floor of 2/15 in West Patel Nagar. We’re right on the Main Patel Road, so the noise from the traffic is basically the constant soundtrack to our workday. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs every morning, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We deal with optical equipment, which means a lot of looking through lenses and checking very small parts. It’s relatively quiet work compared to the chaos outside on the busy street. We aren't some massive company with hundreds of employees and automated systems. We’re just a few people who know our way around a microscope and a lens. The office is often a bit cramped with boxes and equipment waiting to be shipped, but we know where everything is. Clients come by every now and then, usually looking for something very specific. We don't do much in the way of sales pitches or fancy talks. If we have what they need in stock, we help them out. The lighting in the shop could be better, but it works for what we do. Lunch usually happens at our desks while we talk about whatever is happening in Delhi that day. On rainy days, the road outside gets really messy, but we stay dry up here on the third floor. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on this block, but we just keep doing our thing.
