Dewan Auto Spares

Our shop, Dewan Auto Spares, is at No-1231 in Chhota Bazar, right in the heart of the Kashmere Gate area. This place is always crowded, and you have to be careful walking through the narrow lanes because of the traffic. We have been here for a long time, watching the market change around us. The shop itself is small and packed with everything you can think of related to cars. It’s mostly just us and a lot of steel shelves holding inventory. We spend the morning unpacking things and the rest of the day talking to customers who walk in. Some people come in knowing exactly what they want, while others need to look through a few different options before deciding. We don't have any fancy displays or a waiting room. It’s just a counter and the parts kept behind it. The noise from the street is always there in the background. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming, but you get used to it after a few years of working here. We keep a ledger for all the accounts, and it’s mostly manual work. We aren't really into technology much, we just prefer doing things the old-fashioned way. It’s about being there every day and making sure we have what people are looking for. It is a tough business sometimes, especially with all the competition around here, but we just keep going. It’s what we know how to do and we don't mind the hard work.
