Delta Diagnostics

Over in Rohini, specifically in Sector-3, you’ll find us at 63 Pocket H-32. We’re pretty close to Vishram Chowk, which makes it easier for people to give directions to their friends. Delta Diagnostics is a small lab, and we’ve been in this pocket for a few years now. The space is mostly filled with machines and those little plastic cups for samples. It’s a routine job. We come in, check the calibrations, and wait for the first patients of the morning. Rohini is a quiet residential area for the most part, but we stay pretty busy. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with leather chairs; it’s just standard plastic chairs and some old magazines on the table. Sometimes the samples take longer to process than we’d like, and we have to explain that to people who are in a hurry. We try to be honest about the timing. It’s just a few of us working here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to cleaning the floors at the end of the shift. We aren’t trying to be the biggest lab in Delhi. We just want to get the numbers right so people know what’s going on with their health. It’s basic, honest work that feels useful to the community. We usually close up once the last report is printed and the samples are all stored away safely.
