If you come down to Street No 7 in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area you will see our place at Plot No 6. It’s a busy industrial zone so there is always the sound of machines and welding nearby. We do a lot of the actual hands-on work right here on the shop floor. It is mostly about getting the materials ready and making sure the designs are followed. We don’t have a big fancy showroom. Instead we have a lot of tools and benches where we work on different pieces. It can get pretty loud and messy during the middle of the day. We have a small group of workers who are good with their hands. Most of them have been doing this kind of work for a long time. The building is older but it serves our purpose well enough. We keep the raw materials in one corner and the finished stuff in another. Sometimes we run out of space when a big order comes in. Then we have to move things around just to walk through the aisle. Anand Parbat is a tough area but it’s where all the making happens. We don't use much technology besides the basic tools we need. It is more about putting in the hours and making sure things look right before they leave the plot. We usually close up when the sun goes down and start again early the next morning.
