De-Stizal Interior

Our office is located in Somnath Chambers 2, over in Bhikaji Cama Place. We are in units 403 and 404, so we have a bit of space to spread out our interior design work. It’s a busy commercial hub, so there is always someone coming or going in the corridors. We use our space to meet with clients and look over floor plans and fabric swatches. It’s not a cold, corporate office; we’ve tried to make it feel a bit more comfortable since we spend so much time here. You’ll find rolls of wallpaper in the corner and tiles stacked near the desks. We aren't interested in sounding like a big-shot firm. We’re just a group of people who enjoy fixing up spaces and making them usable. The windows look out over the city, which is nice when we need a break from the computer screens. Most days are spent on the phone with suppliers or trying to figure out how to fit a big idea into a small room. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the colors don't clash. We don't put on airs or try to impress people with jargon. We just show them what we can do and go from there. It’s a busy, sometimes chaotic job, but we wouldn’t want to be doing anything else. The building elevator can be slow during lunch hours, so we’ve learned to time our breaks around it. It’s little things like that which make up our day-to-day life here.
